Make nature your business
We are proud to work with a range of local businesses who share our aims to protect the local natural environment and enable local people to access and enjoy their greenspaces.
From straight forward corporate membership to more bespoke relationships we are keen to form links with companies who are looking to work towards sustainable environmental practices and who support the ideas of wildlife conservation, education and the enormous benefits for people in spending time in nature.

Read our statement below
To achieve the ambitious objectives laid out in our Wilder 2030 Strategy, we understand the significant support that our business communities can offer, and the role they can play in restoring nature. Income received from corporate memberships, partnerships and donations help in the battle for nature’s recovery across our two counties.
While we are hugely grateful for this support, the Trust’s primary aim will always be to protect and preserve wildlife and wild spaces across the two counties. With that goal in mind, our priority is to work with businesses that share our urgency, passion and commitment to nature positivity, and whose activities are consistent with our own organisational mission and values.
The Trust works collaboratively to achieve outcomes, ensuring that there is a transparent, strategic purpose for a long-term and effective relationship. All our corporate relationships will be based on integrity and openness, sharing appropriate benefits, whilst always maintaining independence.
We may choose not to engage with organisations where we deem there to be conflicts with our mission and values, or where activities could pose a risk to the Trust. In line with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, we will carry out appropriate and proportionate due diligence prior to accepting donations or entering a corporate relationship. That due diligence will consider a company’s operations, direct impacts, and conflicts with our values and charitable objectives, as well as the public perception of a company and any reputational risks to the Trust by association.
Acceptance of support from a company will not imply any endorsement or condoning of activities. The Trust will always reserve the right to comment publicly should a company’s activities threaten wildlife or pose a direct conflict with our mission and values. Where deemed necessary, the Trust may also seek to terminate existing relationships if companies fail ongoing due diligence checks.
Where the balance between due diligence concerns and a potentially positive outcome for nature requires greater scrutiny, our decision making will be guided by our Corporate Partnerships Policy, which sets out our internal processes. This policy helps the Trust ensure we make the best judgements to support our goals in achieving a wilder Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
