Sits in the heart of a stunning 159 hectares nature reserve, surrounded by lake, pond, river, woodland and grassland habitats.

Blashford Lakes education centre hosts a wonderful range of day visit activities for schools and events for families and adults.

We have reviewed our processes and procedures in light of the pandemic and we are accepting bookings for visits by schools and all other groups, albeit with some restrictions in place  - please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

Facilities

Our Education Centre is currently closed to the public and open to pre-booked groups only to help ensure everyone's safety. 

Classroom with capacity for 16 people (seated with 2m social distancing), or 31 people (seated with 1m social distancing)

Undercover outdoor teaching area and outdoor hand washing facilities
Toilets, including an accessible toilet
Picnic tables
Coach parking
Accessible footpaths around the reserve
Campfire site
Six bird hides
Live video feeds from the reserve viewable in the centre
