Mapping wildlife through citizen science
We’re inviting you to step outside and spot the nature on your doorstep, from birds in your garden to butterflies in the park.
By recording what you see, you’ll help us map where wildlife is thriving, and where it may be missing. Every single sighting adds to a growing picture of nature across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Want to take part without a screen?

Want to explore without a screen? Our Citizen Science Guide is a fun and easy way to identify local species while you're out and about. Perfect for gardens, school grounds, parks, and nature walks.
Just print, grab a pencil, and head outdoors!
