About the event

Join us as we explore the seasons and wildlife of Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve, at our regular session of stories and outdoor activities for pre-school children and their parents and carers.

This month we will be learning about the wonderful world of butterflies and caterpillars starting with a craft and story indoors before we head outside to explore. This time we will be heading to the meadow to see all the wonderful wildlife we can find there. Using nets to sweep the long grass and bug pots to look more closely at our fantastic finds. We will also be fluttering butterflies over the flowers and making pipe cleaner caterpillars.

Online booking is essential - bookings close at 1pm on Thursday 6th June. You only need to book spaces for the children in you party.

Please wear long sleeves, long trousers and sturdy shoes or boots.

Please do not attend if you or your child have Covid symptoms or have tested positive. In the event of a cancellation due to a staff member testing positive for Covid full refunds will be given.
