Guided Bird Walk around Hook-with-Warsash
Event details
About the event
Join us for an early summer Guided bird walk around Hook-with-Warsash nature areas to see and/or hear warblers, sea birds, summer migrants and resident birds. This walk will go through some woodland pasture, minor roads and along the shoreline bordering Hook-with-Warsash Nature Reserve. The walk is mainly on a steady level but will involve extensive walking on shingle. Stout footwear, socks and long trousers are recommended to prevent against tick bites. The distance covered will be 4.8 kilometres (approx 3 miles) and with stops should take 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome.
Meeting Point: please gather in the car park off Hook Park Road, over the bridge and immediately left past the large White House on the left about 100 metres down an unmade road. 50.842409, -1.297983
