About the event
Together with Richard Jones, Portsdown Countryside Officer at Portsmouth City Council,, we will go on an adventure to spot, identify and learn fun facts about insects that live in the flower-rich grassland and in the woodland thanks to our sweep nets and bug pots.
We will also go on a scavenger hunt to identify different species of flowers. We will finally spot the birds (hopefully some birds of prey!) and will finish by a sports game in the short grass area 😊
New families welcome.
This is a wildlife watch event for children aged 5-15 years only with accompanied adult, as there are limited spaces we ask for only one adult booking for each child attendee.
