Our Wetland Restoration project enhanced key sites in the eastern Isle of Wight as part of Down to the Coast. Working with partners and landowners, we restored habitats, created a nature reserve, and raised awareness about these incredibly important havens for wildlife.
Down to the Coast: Woodland Apprentices
Our Woodland Apprentices scheme safeguarded wildlife havens in the eastern Isle of Wight as part of Down to the Coast. We trained eight local young people in a wide range of woodland management skills, restoring vital habitats and equipping them for a bright future in conservation.
