Join the People's Walk for Wildlife

The Wildlife Trusts are supporting Chris Packham's People's Walk for Wildlife this weekend

Staff, volunteers and supporters of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust will be joining thousands of other wildlife champions at Chris Packham’s People’s Walk for Wildlife this Saturday in London.

The UK has lost 44 million breeding birds in the past 50 years. We cannot continue like this. We must not let our nature-deprived towns and countryside become the new norm. The next few months will be critical for us to take action for wildlife, and show decision-makers how important nature is to us.

People's Manifesto for Wildlife

A tipping point for wildlife?

Launched this week alongside the walk, was a People's Manifesto for Wildlife, a provocative report setting out some radical ideas for ending the 'war on wildlife'.
