Since 2021, WightFibre has generously supported Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust through corporate membership and continues to champion efforts to protect wildlife and tackle climate change.

WightFibre is a telecommunications company based on the Isle of Wight, providing phone, TV, and broadband services to homes and businesses. Committed to building a full-fibre broadband network across the Island, the WightFibre network is available to over 73 000 premises with more than 27 000 homes and businesses already connected as customers.

By joining as corporate members, businesses like WightFibre help The Trust to enhance and protect habitats, inspire and educate communities, and enable wildlife to thrive.

WightFibre’s dedicated annual support allows the Trust to manage over 70 nature reserves across the two counties and work towards creating a wilder future for everyone.

With a highly advanced network that provides every home with its own dedicated fibre-optic cable, WightFibre’s ethos, “because we care” is embedded in its culture.

This commitment looks to extend beyond customer service; through its Connected Communities Programme, the company ensures local charities and groups have access to reliable broadband and telephone services.

WightFibre has also taken meaningful steps towards sustainability. They have improved the energy efficiency of their office buildings and warehouse, switched from petrol to electric-powered equipment, and supported vital research into red squirrel populations on the Island, helping protect this treasured species against threats such as climate change.

We are incredibly grateful to the team at WightFibre for their generosity and commitment to creating a wilder future where nature can flourish.
