How to set up a Wildlife Garden Get Together fundraising page

We've put together some simple steps to follow to create a successful fundraising page on JustGiving

Setting up a fundraising page on JustGiving is an effective and simple way to achieve your fundraising goal. Simply follow our step by step guide to create yours now:

Step 1: Find us on JustGiving

Follow this link to take you to our Wildlife Garden Get Together campaign: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/togetherforwildlife

Step 2: Sign up to JustGiving and Start fundraising

Click on the orange 'Start Fundraising' button. If you don't already have a JustGiving account, you'll need to sign up. You can create an account using your Facebook or Google account or by providing your email address and creating a password.  Once you've signed in you’ll then be asked what you’re doing to raise money, select “doing your own thing".

Step 3: Fill in basic information
You’ll then be prompted to fill in basic information including: type of activity, activity name (here we’d put “Wildlife Garden Get Together”) and a date for the event.

Step 4: Customise your fundraising page

After filling in the basics you'll be asked to customise your page. The title and description should be pre-populated; however, you can personalise this to explain why you're raising money and why the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is important to you. You can also add photos and videos to make your page more compelling and shareable.

Step 5: Share your fundraising page

Once your page is created, share it with your friends and family. JustGiving offers easy social media sharing options, or you can share the link to your fundraising page via email or messaging apps.

Step 7: Thank your supporters

As your fundraising campaign progresses, make sure to thank your supporters for their donations and support.

Creating a fundraising page on JustGiving is a great way to support a cause and raise money for a charity. By following these simple steps and sharing your page, you can make a meaningful impact and help us protecting and restoring wildlife and wild places across our two counties.
