About the event

As the colder months settle in, the marshes come alive with thousands of migratory waders and wildfowl seeking refuge along the shoreline. Led by our reserves team, this relaxed walk will give you the chance to experience the reserve at its seasonal best and learn more about the incredible journeys these birds have made.

We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for flocks of dark-bellied brent geese grazing on the mudflats and saltmarsh, alongside a variety of winter waders such as redshank, dunlin and curlew. With sweeping views across Langstone Harbour, it’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy both the wildlife spectacle and the winter landscape.
