About the event

Meadow management training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to establish, enhance, monitor and sustainably manage meadows to support pollinators, increase biodiversity, and maintain healthy grassland ecosystems. The workshop consists of:

  • 1 hour presentation covering covering topics such as grassland ecology, cutting regimes, seed collection, and habitat condition monitoring
  • 2 hour guided walk around nearby Down Grange nature reserve looking at management and monitoring techniques.

Parking is available at St Marks Church but please car share where possible.

Please wear appropriate footwear for walking on uneven ground. Refreshments will be provided.
