Swanwick Lakes Wildlife Tots: Ducks, Feathers and Nests!
Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve,
Sopwith Way, Swanwick, Hampshire, SO31 7AYAbout the event
Join us as we explore the seasons and wildlife of Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve, at our regular session of stories and outdoor activities for pre-school children and their parents and carers.
This month we will be learning about ducks, nests and eggs, starting with a welcome craft and story indoors before we head outside to explore. Starting with a quick look for ducks on the centre lake before we take a short and gentle walk to the woodland to have fun making nests for birds, playing with eggs and feathers as well as enjoying bug hunting and our usual mud kitchen play.
Online booking is essential - bookings close at 1pm on Monday 2nd March. You only need to book spaces for the children in you party.
Please wear long sleeves, long trousers and sturdy shoes or boots.
