Role title: Livestock Looker

Location: Rectory House, Itchen Abbas

Times, days and frequency: Available Weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Ideally mornings as checks must be completed by 1pm and reports by 4pm

Purpose of role: Welfare checks of livestock

Tasks involved in this role     

• Visual check of livestock health
• Check of stock fence and gates
• Checking water supply
• Lone working
• Using the internet to share details of your visit

Skills and abilities needed:   

• Comfortable in a field of cows
• Able to walk
• Able to use a computer
• Organised and reliable

Specific considerations : Must be able to travel to site
