The work of the Watercress and Winterbournes Landscape Partnership Scheme has been recognised at the 2023 CIEEM Awards.

The Watercress and Winterbournes Landscape Partnership Scheme, in which the Wildlife Trust is a partner, has received recognition from the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM). The scheme was commended in the 'Best Practice Stakeholder Engagement' award category.

CIEEM is a professional membership body that represents ecologists and environmental managers in the UK, Ireland, and beyond. It aims to share knowledge and provide advice, including at the government level. Since 2006, the CIEEM Awards have celebrated outstanding work in the environmental sector.

The Watercress and Winterbournes team are honoured to be recognised alongside a wide variety of impressive initiatives. Several team members were also delighted to attend the awards ceremony in person. You can learn more about the awards and their nominees in this handy digital booklet.

We encourage those with an interest in our local chalk streams to explore the Watercress and Winterbournes scheme. Its many projects aim to protect, enhance, and celebrate the Test and Itchen headwaters - incredibly rare and precious havens for our wildlife.
