About the event

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust are excited to be hosting the national audio book launch for Wild Seas, Wilder Cities. 

Bringing together environmental fiction, poetry and articles, this book celebrates local action and environmental conservation. 

We're inviting you to join us for a talk that celebrates the launch of the audio book and to have a chance to interact with some of the authors who contributed. Find out where the inspiration behind the book came from, have a go at some nature writing yourself, and discover how this book is raising money for our Solent Seagrass Restoration project.

This event forms part of our engagement work for the Solent Seascape Project, an innovative marine project supported by the Endangered Landscapes and Seascapes Programme and East Head Impact. The project is about restoring four of the Solent’s most important habitats: seagrass meadows, oyster reefs, saltmarsh and seabird nesting habitats.
