About the event

Take action for nature during this year's Biosphere Festival! Get hands on and help pull up the non-native, invasive plant species Himalayan balsam. And help us maintain the precious diversity of our Eastern Yar catchment before this non-native vegetation can go to seed. This activity will be led by our reserves team.

You don’t need any special knowledge or experience to take part in our Balsam bashing day, but you must be aged 18 + years old. Dogs are not allowed on this volunteer event.
