About the event

An opportunity to explore the moors in winter and hopefully see the visiting species that rely on the nature reserve. The River Itchen flows through the length of the reserve providing water for wet grassland, reedbeds, wet woodland and a network of smaller water courses. This is a chance to see the water meadows in action and learn about the Trust's approach to floodplain management.

The walk will be approximately two miles long and last around two hours. Please be aware that the ground may be wet and challenging underfoot; therefore, a good level of physical fitness and appropriate footwear is required.

This event is for adults only, and we kindly ask that no dogs are brought along.
