About the event

10am - 12noon on Friday 22nd August

Join us for a taster Forest School session, ahead of our Forest School programme for families with 2-5 year olds, starting again in the autumn term 2025.

You and your child will join our Forest School group for two hours of exploring, discovering, constructing, playing and learning in the Swanwick Lakes woods. The session will be flexible and based on the needs and interests of the children. Older siblings welcome due to school holidays.

Activities and opportunities are linked to the seasons and our local wildlife, with the use of natural materials, tools and a range of resources available to inspire creativity, independence, resilience and confidence.

Drinks will be provided.

Online booking is essential - Bookings close at 1pm on Wednesday 20th August. Please note you only need to book spaces for the children in you party.

All participants must wear long sleeves, long trousers and closed toed sturdy shoes or boots, as well as come dressed for whatever the weather may be doing on each day.
