About the event

Improving the wellbeing of pupils and school staff is now more important than ever. This course will give you the tools you need to make the case for embedding opportunities for connecting with nature into the school day which are about more than curriculum learning. We’ll cover what connection to nature is and why it’s important for wellbeing as well as simple ways to integrate wellbeing through nature into the school day.

During this course you will find out:

  • What is a connection to nature and why is it important?
  • How does a connection to nature benefit children (and adults)- including physical and mental wellbeing, confidence, and resilience
  • Simple ways to integrate wellbeing through nature in to your school day

At the end of this course you will receive a summary of the points discussed and a digital copy of our Wildlife in School Grounds booklet
