About the event

Join us for a short walk to harvest your willow and gather natural materials including leaves, bracken, grasses, seed heads or twigs, before learning how to shape your willow wreath and decorate it.

Tickets are required for each attending child. Tickets are NOT required for the accompanying adult but please note that all children must be accompanied.

Children should be accompanied by one carer/parent only in order to manage the overall size of the group (unless a families individual needs are such that children must be accompanied by more than one adult ).

The Education Centre remains closed to visitors. The toilets will be available to participants at the beginning & the end of the walk if needed.

Please arrive 5 - 15 minutes before the activity is due to start and dress and wear waterproof footwear suitable for the weather on the day. Bear in mind that even if it's sunny, at this time of year the grass is likely to be wet with dew and that we will be standing still for much of the time while we make, so do bring at least one extra layer to that which you might wear if going out for a more active walk.
