About the event

Rummage through the moth trap for some of our night time visitors before heading to the meadow to discover the fantastic and fascinating miniature world of grasshoppers, crickets, damselflies, spiders and bugs galore!

Booking is essential via EventbritePlease note tickets are required for each attendee, including each accompanying adult, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Clean equipment will be provided for each child and their parent or carer participating in the session.

When booking you will be asked to read and agree to our COVID19 secure guidelines.

Please note the Education Centre remains closed to visitors - outdoor hand washing facilities will be available and we are currently providing portaloo's for use by visitors at the front of the Centre.

There is very little shade in the meadow, so if the weather is sunny please remember a drink, a sun hat and sun protection. Trousers and a long sleeved top are advised to reduce the risk of picking up ticks.

If it is, or has, been raining, or if it is very hot on the day, we will switch location from the exposed meadow to the more sheltered woodland and explore there instead!

Tissues will be provided for coughs and sneezes and a bin available for their disposal.

Please arrive 5 minutes before the session is due to start.
