About the event

Join us for a guided walk through a field with an interesting stretch of chalk stream. You'll hear about nitrate neutrality, planting bat willow, and habitat improvements for brown trout. This site is especially good for water voles, and you'll also have a chance of spotting raptors or kingfishers.

This event is part of Open Chalk Streams, a project within the Watercress and Winterbournes Landscape Partnership Scheme. We're protecting, enhancing, and celebrating the Rivers Test and Itchen headwaters - learn more.
