About the event

Catch fish and other river life, make a rush boat and delve deeper into the underwater world of the Dockens Water if you dare!

Please come dressed to get wet! Wear wellies or water shoes (no flip flops please!) and remember a towel and change of clothes too...

Please note that tickets are required for all children and their accompanying adult (s), and all children must be accompanied!

Booking essential.

Clean equipment will be provided for each child and their parent or carer participating in the session (two snorkels and masks will be available per family, they can be used in certain parts of our river play area to explore the underwater world, I'm afraid we won't be swimming off downstream!).

When booking you will be asked to read and agree to our COVID19 secure guidelines.

Please note the Education Centre remains closed to visitors - outdoor hand washing facilities will be available and we are currently providing portaloo's for use by visitors at the front of the Centre.

Tissues will be provided for coughs and sneezes and a bin available for their disposal.

Please arrive 5 minutes before the session is due to start.

Finding us:

Please meet outside the front of the Education Centre, Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve, Ellingham Drove, Ringwood, BH24 3PJ. The Centre is o the south side of Ellingham Drove.

Please note the Nature Reserve is not signposted from the main A338 Ringwood to Salisbury road and sat nav can mis direct you at the Ellingham Crossroads - when turning off the A338, follow signs to Moyles Court and Linwood. The Education Centre is the first turning on the right hand side once you have turned off the A338, marked by a large wooden cut out of a kingfisher.
