Havant Thicket Reservoir Walk
Meeting pointThe Forestry Commission car park off Manor Lodge Road in Rowlands Castle
About the event
Join Portsmouth Water's Environment and Biodiversity Specialist, Tracey Viney, for a walk around the proposed Havant Thicket Winter Storage Reservoir site.
Tracey will explain how the existing habitats have changed through time and what new habitats will be created in the future to optimise the opportunities for wildlife, to ensure a net biodiversity gain. Information will be provided on the new visitor facilities and improvements for public access.
The walk will take about 2 hours pointing out the wildlife along the way, weather permitting it should be a good time of the year to see a variety of butterflies.
