Use of our nature reserves for organised or commercial activity

Our nature reserves are sensitive spaces for wildlife, and any organised activity must be carefully managed to protect them.

We may allow individuals or organisations to use our land for activities that involve charging participants, generating income, or promoting a business, provided this is agreed in advance and a licence is granted by the Trust. Use of our sites in these circumstances is typically offered in return for a site usage fee, assessed on a case-by-case basis.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Paid walking tours or guided experiences
  • Ticketed events or group activities
  • Fitness classes, workshops, or training sessions
  • Running events, races, triathlons or organised fitness challenges

Site usage fees will vary depending on the size and nature of the activity, this includes a Min.£100 level admin fee, 20% of the event turnover. Please contact us with details of your proposal so we can advise on suitability and agree arrangements.
