Beetle Bucket

Beetle Bucket

Lucus a pupil at Parsonage Farm Infants School is the next generation of wildlife conservationists. Lucus shares his beetle bucket action we can all do in an outdoor space!

The David Attenborough's of this world are out there.  Give them the great outdoors, a few nuggets of knowledge and an opportunity to have a say, and they will make a difference.

At Parsonage Farm, one of our Team Wilder Busy Bees did just that, after being set homework of how to bring more wildlife into the school grounds.

Busy Bee Lucas found a Wildlife Trust video on how to make a Beetle Bucket and from that drew his own very clear set of instructions.  At our next Team Wilder Day, the whole group of elected Busy Bees set about making a couple of Beetle Buckets.

Why not take this action to make your very own beetle bucket by following Lucus instructions on how to make or find the Wildlife Watch help sheet, find link below. Use any sticks or woody material and leaf litter to make your beetle canteen.
