About the event

This Wild Beach training course is 6 credits at Level 3, awarded by LASER.

There are 4 mandatory Training Days (9.30 to 4.30pm):

Mon 1st & Tues 2nd July 2024 at Lee on Solent Beach, Wed 3rd & Thurs 4th July 2024 at Hurst Spit, Milford on Sea.

There will be a short portfolio of coursework to be completed within 6 months of the start of the course. All resources shared during the training days and additional online resources and videos will be provided through our online learning platform Moodle after the training days to support the independent portfolio work.

Wild Beach is an inspirational process that offers children, young people and adults of all abilities regular opportunities to gain confidence and raise self-worth through a series of hands-on learning experiences in the marine environment.

Comprising an exciting combination of practical outdoor skills, play and curriculum linked activities, our Wild Beach Level 3 training is taught with the ethos behind the Forest School approach to child led learning.

The Wild Beach Level 3 course is run on Forest School principles and will prepare you to deliver Wild Beach sessions. The Level 3 course will enable you to confidently deliver, plan and monitor all aspects of a Wild Beach programme. All our Wild Beach courses are delivered on our beautiful coasts in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight by our qualified, professional staff.
