The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust (HIWWT) is the leading local nature conservation charity and is one of the largest of the county-based Wildlife Trusts with a lively, dedicated and passionate team of 90 staff and 1400 volunteers.
This post will include delivery of activities which promote engagement with nature through fun, hands on activities. This may include community engagement programmes, Wildlife Tots sessions, birthday parties, visits for uniformed groups, public events and occasional school visits.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic professional who will have experience of leading community engagement, children’s activities and public events and the ability to work with a variety of demographics. A desire to inspire and motivate participants in a confident manner is essential.
The post is home-based, with regular travel to various sites across the county.
Applicants should have a flexible attitude to working hours and be able to work weekends
