Exploring the hidden wonder of the River Itchen & highlighting the issues affecting this habitat.
Prizes - £400 for the winner and £100 for 3 runners up!
Competition Details
Brief - Make a video (max 3-5 mins) on your mobile phone, all about the River Itchen. You can tell us what you love about the river or highlight an issue that needs tackling, such as pollution or climate change.
How to enter - Email your video to Susan.Simmonds@hiwwt.org.uk (we suggest you use WeTransfer) along with your name, title of the video, age group and one sentence about why you made your video.
Age categories - 16-22 years and under 16 years.
Important info -Filming alongside a river can be dangerous, under 18s should be accompanied by an adult and must also provide a parental contact along with the video submission. If you are over 18 and choose to go alone it is a good idea to let someone know where you are.
Panel - We will have a professional camera man on the panel of judges!
