Enjoy wildlife at the New Forest Walking Festival

Walk at Blashford Lakes nature reserve

Wild walks are among the treats awaiting walkers in the fifth New Forest Walking Festival

The festival boasts 75 guided walks led by knowledgeable local experts who will take you behind the scenes to discover more about the Forest.

Walks will reveal the history, heritage and wildlife of the National Park from 14 to 29 October, which includes half term week, and many are free.More than 2,000 people attended last year’s event to gain behind the scenes knowledge of the Forest.

The festival includes two events at the Wildlife Trust's Blashford Lakes nature reserve:

Blashford Buggy Walk - Thursday 19th October

Healthy Walk at Blashford Lakes - Wednesday 25th October
