Activities at Wildlife Watch & Tots Groups

You can get involved with nature hunts, woodwork, bird watching and all sorts of things with Wildlife Watch activities!

Wildlife Watch groups are suitable for families with children aged 5 - 15, Wildlife Tots groups are for under 5's - you don't have to be a member to attend the events.

Wildlife Watch Awards

Have a go at our fun wildlife challenges to try and complete the three Wildlife Watch Awards!

Hedgehog Award
This award is open to any age.
To comeplete the Hedghehog Award you have to take part in 8 wildlife activities - register on the Wildlife Watch website or collect a Hedgehog card and stickers at our education centres, Wildlife Watch groups and some of the Trust family events. Contact us for further information on how to get your award cards and to complete your challenges.

Kestrel Award
This award is open to members over the age of 8.
The Kestrel Award has four wildlife challenges – Create It!, Do It!, Record it! and Shout About It! Once you have completed a challenge you will get a sticker on your Award card and when you have all four you'll receive a certificate, badge and another icon on your website profile. Contact us for further information on how to get your award cards and to complete your challenges.

Nature Ranger Award
This award is open to any member who has completed their Kestrel award.
To complete this award you have to study a UK wildlife or conservation topic of your choice and produce a report that will be assessed by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. Once completed you will receive a certificate signed by Chris Packham, a badge, the final icon for your profile, a mention in the Wildlife Watch magazine and a special prize.
