Local Conservation Projects

Normandy Marsh by Linda Priestley

Our Living Landscapes are places where we’re working to improve and protect entire landscapes to create space for wildlife to flourish and people to enjoy.

Our focus is on bigger and better protected areas that are joined up by wildlife-friendly countryside and urban areas in between.

Our nature reserves are precious wildlife sites, but many are now ‘islands’ surrounded by land that is becoming more and more hostile for wildlife.

We are working with others to restore, recreate and reconnect isolated habitats to help achieve our vision of a whole Living Landscape.
