Wildlife Garden Get Together

Celebrate gardening for wildlife

Open your garden to friends and family or your local community during 2023 and raise funds to help protect of our precious habitats and vulnerable wildlife in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

No matter how big or small your outdoor space is, you can get involved and open up your wildlife garden to inspire others to make their own outdoor spaces more wildlife-friendly too!

Wildlife Garden Get Together is easy to take part in and provides a wilder alternative to the regular charity coffee morning fundraiser. Open the garden gate, put the kettle on and show off your wildlife garden this year!

With 15 million gardens in the UK at a combined size of around 270,000ha, gardens are a vital and significant habitat for wildlife - providing food, water, shelter, breeding and nesting areas and a way to travel from one place to another.

From small balcony gardens where you can invite a few friends over, to large private estates, community gardens and everything in between. It doesn't matter what size of garden you have, just so long as there's a feature or two that you can share to inspire others to garden for wildlife. Anyone can get involved and get together to celebrate gardening for wildlife.
