Thank you for buying tickets for our Winter Raffle! 

You should soon receive an email from People’s Fundraising confirming your purchase and containing details of your unique raffle ticket number/s. 

The Winter Raffle will be drawn at 3pm on Thursday 15th December and if you are a winner a member of our team will be in contact with you. 

You’ll also be able to see a list of all the winners on our website at www.hiwwt.org.uk/raffle 

With your help we can create a wilder future, where nature is recovering, and everyone benefits from a healthier natural environment.

FAQ

How will I know if I have won a prize?

Winners will be contacted by telephone within 48 hours of the draw. If we are unable to get hold of winners by telephone, we will email or write to them to confirm they are a winner.  

What are the Terms & Conditions?

  • Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust Winter Raffle is open to all residents of Great Britain (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands) who are over the age of 18 years. The tickets may not be sold to, or by a person under 18 years of age. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize. 

  • The cost of each ticket is £2. Players may purchase more than one entry and payment must be in advance. 

  • In order to promote responsible gambling, a maximum number of entries in the Winter Raffle for an individual is 25 tickets, which is the equivalent of £50. 

  • All tickets in the Winter Raffle will be prefixed with the letters HIWWT. 

  • The raffle draw will be conducted using People’s Fundraising’s Random Number Generator. 

  • The draw will take place on Thursday 15th December 2022 at 3pm and winners will be contacted by telephone. 

  • The winners’ details will be published on our website. These will be in summary only, for example Wildlife Gardening Package - Mrs Smith from Southampton. 

  • Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust (HIWWT) staff and volunteers are permitted to enter the raffle, with the exclusion of those HIWWT and third-party employees directly involved in the administration or management of the raffle. 

  • To enter the raffle via People’s Fundraising an entrant must self-certify that they are the required minimum age to play. A confirmation email will be sent to the entrant confirming their numbers in the draw and thanking them for their participation. If an entrant is found to be under the required age their payment will be returned, and they will not be entered into the draw. 

  • To enter the raffle over the telephone (using a debit card) or via the post (using a cheque), an entrant must self-certify that they are the required minimum age to play. A confirmation email or letter will be sent to the entrant confirming their numbers in the draw and thanking them for their participation. If an entrant is found to be under the required age their payment will be returned, and they will not be entered into the draw. 

  • CAF payments cannot be accepted as payment for raffle tickets. 

  • Entries purchased must not be bought on behalf of somebody else. 

  • The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into. 

  • Participation in Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s Winter Raffle is a form of gambling. Participants are encouraged to gamble sensibly. If you feel that you have a problem with gambling, please visit the BeGambleAware website for help and advice at www.begambleaware.org or contact The National Gambling Helpline on 0808 802 0133 (lines open 8am to midnight).  

I have paid for my tickets via the telephone or post. How will I know my raffle ticket number/s?

A member of our team will send you an email or letter confirming your numbers.  

Where will the money raised from the raffle be spent?

All profits from our Winter Raffle will go directly towards funding our conservation work and vision of a wider Hampshire and Isle of Wight.  

What are the prizes?

  • 1st Prize - Experience the Isle of Wight including a behind the scenes tour at Newchurch Moors Nature Reserve, plus a £20 voucher for the Garlic Farm and a £50 voucher towards an overnight stay with Off Peak Luxury
  • 2nd Prize - Behind the Scenes Tour of Winnall Moors Nature Reserve
  • 3rd Prize - Wildlife Gardening Package, including a gardening consultation with our Wilder Garden Champions, a £50 voucher for Hillier Garden Centre plus a wildlife gardening book.
