The Peter Brough Fund
In celebration of the life and work of the late Dr Peter Brough, the Trust has established a fund ‘to acknowledge and encourage the work of amateur naturalists’.
Applications for support of up to £500 from the Peter Brough Fund are welcomed from individuals or groups engaged in any aspect of the study of natural history.
The award has previously been presented to student research projects from Exeter and Southampton Universities, to The Isle of Wight Natural History and Archaeological Society for their work in conserving Wood Calamint over 50 years, to Catherine Pascoe for her survey of badgers on nature reserves and to Paul James for his study of the birdlife of Pamber Forest.
Please download and fill in this application form and submit by it June 15; the successful applicant/s will be advised by July 3rd. Applicants are encouraged to explain how the grant will support the proposed work and demonstrate how they intend to share their knowledge with others.
