- Self guided trail visiting all the major habitats
- Veteran oak trees hundreds of years old
- Medieval woodbanks marking boundaries of copses
- Cattle grazing all year on site

- Mammals including roe deer, muntjac and foxes
- Wild service tree
- Wild daffodil

Winter:
- Birds: redwing, jay, mixed tit flocks
- Fungi: dryad, birch polypore
Spring:
Birds: marsh tit, blackcap, willow warbler - Butterflies: orange tip, comma, speckled wood
- Moths: drab looper, speckled yellow
- Reptiles: adder
- Plants: wood anemone, wild daffodil
Summer:
- Birds: garden warbler, woodcock
- Butterflies: white admiral, silver-washed fritillary
- Dragonflies: golden-ringed, emperor
- Plants: betony, common cow-wheat
Autumn:
- Dragonflies: migrant hawker, common darter
- Beetles: dor beetle
- Plants: devil’s-bit scabious
- Fungi: fly agaric, violet webcap, stinkhorn
