Wildlife Watch - Information for grown-ups

What is Wildlife Watch?

Wildlife Watch is the junior membership for the Trust.

Wildlife Watch is about inspiring and helping children, and young people to explore, learn about, and enjoy the outdoors. We want to help them appreciate wildlife and wild spaces, their habitats, and involve them in helping create a wilder future for local wildlife. We want to give children and young people the tools they need to love and protect wildlife now and in the future.

Wildlife Watch Groups

Wildlife Watch groups are for children aged 5 – 15 years to meet, have fun, and make new friends whilst learning new skills including den building, minibeast hunts and pond dipping.

We have events in Basingstoke, Blashford, Portsmouth and Southsea, and Testwood. Find out more information here.

Wildlife Watch Website

Our Wildlife Watch website is jampacked with wildlife facts, stories from young people helping wildlife, activities, spotter sheets, fun quizzes and more, to help children learn more about the natural world. Head over at https://www.wildlifewatch.org.uk/

Safeguarding and Child Protection

We take child protection and safeguarding very seriously. Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Statement sets out how we implement child protection and safeguarding across the Wildlife Trust and who to contact if you have questions or concerns.
