Nightlife at Ningwood
A family activity night to look for the nocturnal wildlife of the Trust’s reserves at Bouldnor Forest and Ningwood Common. Nightjars, owls, glow-worms, moths and bats could all join us. Follow track from main road to Forest parking site near the Bouldnor Forest Centre - entrance off Yarmouth Road (Map ref. SZ 378 896). Contact Gareth Shelley on 01983 760018. You will need wellies, insect repellent and a torch. Booking essential. Children must be accompanied by adults. Maximum 3 children per adult. Sorry, no dogs. No charge but donations welcome for the upkeep of the reserve.
