Downland Delights
Explore the abandoned chalk quarry at Old Burghclere with site manager Graham Dennis. Small blue butterflies and green hairstreaks should be on the wing. Chalk downland flowers will be growing in profusion including the fly orchids. Meet at Old Burgclere Lime Pit, north of Whitchurch (Map ref. SU 469 577).
